Headache during or after exercise usually a signal your body gives you telling you that something is wrong and you need to do something about it. Our body uses pain as an indication and a warning and stopping the pain always depends on our ability to read the signals.

There are two main reasons why you get a headache during or after a workout:You are dehydrated. During the day we need to drink a certain amount of water but it doesn’t have to be 8 glasses of water a day. It just has to be enough. Every time it isn’t your body may give you a signal through a headache or a dry throat. Usually a headache is a first sign. If that’s the case and the dehydration is what causing it the glass of water should ease the pain pretty much immediately (or in 3-5 minutes). Remember, every time you exercise your body loses water and you need to make sure you still have enough left in you. Otherwise be ready to get a headache.Low blood sugar also causes a headache. Generally a person who hasn’t got enough calories to burn gets a headache.

These people who diet usually suffer from it pretty much all the time. You get an annoying headache which is you can’t shake with painkillers or litres of water. If that’s the case then it’s your body giving you a signal that it needs some additional calories to burn. Have some food and you‘ll be fine. And that’s it. These are the main reasons why you get a headache during a workout. Simple isn’t it? Food and water. Our body has a very straight forward way of letting us know what it needs, it makes us experience pain so we would stop whatever we are doing and deal with it.The harder you workout the stronger the headache we may get as the need is stronger and in higher demand.Generally when it comes to pain usually it’s a way our body tries to get our attention. All we need to do is listen and comply. Keep it happy and it will make you happy!
